The SOVENOMUND Dancing Ferrofluid Mate is a music rhythm lamp — it has no speaker and makes no sound. With a built-in microphone, an oak-grain body and a white LED backlight, it picks up music from any nearby speaker and makes real ferrofluid dance to the rhythm in a high-transparency glass bottle. Place it beside a hi-fi or Bluetooth speaker, on a shelf, or even on a piano as a visual metronome.

5. What does the included magnet do? If the ferrofluid becomes granular, use the magnet to draw it together and reshape it by hand.
6. What do the indicator lights mean? Blue is normal, blinking blue is low battery, red and blue means charging, and solid red means charging while off.
7. Can it be used as a piano metronome? Yes. Set it on or near a piano and the ferrofluid moves with the rhythm.
8. Are bubbles in the glass a defect? No. Bubbles of different sizes buffer pressure inside the bottle. Keep the unit upright so they stay at the top.
